Adult Recreational and Masters Programs

Programs
We have 2 programs for Adults
  • Adult Recreational
  • Masters

The focus of our Adult Recreational program is on fun, fitness, and the joy of learning and mastering new skills. Participants work at their own pace, in a safe and non-competitive environment. All classes take place at the University of Toronto Pool (located at Harbord and Spadina).

For our Masters program, divers may participate in diving competitions with other clubs.

All our instructors are certified by Diving Plongeon Canada, and many are current or former nationally or internationally ranked competitive divers.

All classes begin with a warm-up on deck that incorporates diving fitness, flexibility, strength and technique. Emphasis will be on basic skills from the 1 metre board, with the opportunity to do jumps, entries, and basic dives from the 3 metre board and 5 metre platform.

Special Events
We plan special events during each session. These include:

Recreational Meets: These give our recreational divers a chance to participate in a fun and friendly competition with other recreational divers from our club.

Bring-a-Friend Days: Each session, we designate one day for Bring-a-Friend Day. On this day, each diver is invited to bring one friend or family member to join us for a free diving lesson.
